Morris Day and the Time perform at the 2022 Soul Train Awards

Iconic band Morris Day & The Time celebrated a night of excellence at the Soul Train Awards receiving the Legend Award, presented to them by JB Smoove. The group got together to perform their classic hits, including a melody of “Cool,” “777,” and “Jungle Love,” and closing out the night with the crowd-favorite dance song “Bird.”

Hosted by Deon Cole, the show highlighted Black culture and entertainment. Beyoncé led the night with three wins for Album of The Year, Song of the Year, and Best Collaboration with Ronald Isley & The Isley Brothers.
