The Golden Globe Awards returned to NBC after a notable absence last year. The controversial show was broadcast live on Tuesday night from the Beverly Hilton Hotel, its home in recent years.
The big winners in the Film categories were “The Fabelmans” and “The Banshees of Inisherin,” while in Television, “Abbott Elementary”, “House of the Dragon” and “The White Lotus” took home top prizes for the smaller screen.
Prolific television producer Ryan Murphy was awarded the Carol Burnett Award for lifetime achievement in television and comedy legend Eddie Murphy received the Cecil B. DeMille Award for his career in film.
