It was a night for the Kelces, as football player Travis Kelce hosted “Saturday Night Live” with musical guest Kelsea Ballerini. The Superbowl champ from the Kansas City Chiefs appeared as host for the first time. He was joined by his brother Philadelphia Eagles player, Jason Kelce, in a sketch called Abby’s ex.
Kelsea Ballerini made her SNL debut this weekend, signing her latest songs from her EP “Rolling Up the Welcome Mat.” The country songstress performed two songs, “Blindsided” and the even more personal “Penthouse.”
Kelce won his 2nd Superbowl last month when the Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles by a score of 38 – 35. Rhianna’s half-time performance was watched by 17 million people.
“Saturday Night Live” returns live next week with host Jenny Ortega and musical guest The 1975.
