Longtime “The Price Is Right” game show host Bob Baker has passed away. He was 99 years old.
Barker won 18 Daytime Emmys, as well as a Daytime Emmy Award for lifetime achievement in 1999. In early 2004, he was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame. Guinness World Records twice named him TV’s Most Durable Performer.
Barker retired from “The Price Is Right” in June 2007. During his 35 years as host, he missed only one taping of four episodes.
Drew Carey took over the role and Barker made several guest appearances on the show.

The renowned host of Fremantle’s The Price is Right for 35 years, animal activist, radio host, husband, and all-around game show legend will forever hold a spot in our hearts. Bob will be greatly missed, and we thank him for bringing joy to our homes for so many beautiful years. Our condolences to the staff and crew of The Price is Right and the fans.
