“Saturday Night Live” returned for its season premiere on NBC after an unplanned hiatus due to the writer’s strike. SNL alum Pete Davidson was the evening’s host with Ice Spice as the night’s musical guest. The rapper was introduced by her good friend Taylor Swift and sang “In Ha Mood” and “Pretty Girl” featuring Rema.
Swift has had a very high-profile week with the premiere of her Eras Tour concert film. The film is estimated to make $90 to $100 this weekend. Also making a cameo appearance was Kansas City Chief player Travis Kelce who is in a romance with Swift.
Ice Spice has been making headlines herself with her Dunkin commercials with Ben Affleck.
Next week, the show returns live with Bad Bunny as host and musical guest.
