Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Foo Fighters appeared on the Halloween edition of “Saturday Night Live” as the musical guest with comedian Nate Bargatze as host.
The Grammy-winning band led by Dave Grohl performed “Rescued” and “The Glass” from their latest album, “But Here We Are.” The latter song featured a surprise appearance from H.E.R., who sang and played guitar. Another surprise guest Christopher Walken introduced the band’s first performance.
Grohl also appeared in a few sketches, “Airplane” and the digital short “Lake Beach,” a music video that spoofs country music.
H.E.R. performed on “Saturday Night Live” back in 2020 as the musical guest.
The show also acknowledged the unexpected death of “Friends” star Matthew Perry who previously hosted the show.
