American Idol Season 22 aired the second episode of the season on Sunday, February 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The season continues with its traditional audition episodes. The show traveled to the judges’ home town to Richie hails from Tuskegee, Alabama. Luke Byran hails from Leesburg, Georgia and Kat Perry is from Santa Barbara, California.
After the auditions, the hopefuls will arrive in Los Angeles for group rounds and a chance to advance to the live shows.
Judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Byran return for their seventh season on the panel. Ryan Seacrest also returns to the show as the host for the past 22 seasons.
