Acapella super group Pentatonix is about to embark on their latest tour this summer. The busy group took a break during rehearsals to celebrate a milestone of 13 years as a group. “we love you all soooo much!!! thank you for being part of this journey with us. can’t wait to see you this summer on our new tour!!” the group posted on social media.
“Pentatonix was formed 13 years ago today and our team surprised us at tour rehearsals with a lil cake.”
The group, originally from Texas, consists of five vocalists: Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Matt Sallee, and Kevin Olusola. They first gained fame when they won the third season of the NBC singing competition show “The Sing Off.” The group has won 3 Grammy Awards and a host of other accolades.
