Pat Sajak has ended his host duties on “Wheel of Fortune” and now the Emmy winner has passed the baton to new host Ryan Seacrest, literally. In the video below, Sajak tells Seacrest, “You’re never going to find a better job, and you’re never going to find a better co-host,” as co-host Vanna White looks on.

The new season with Seacrest as host airs in September 2024. In addition to serving as host, Seacrest also will serve as a consulting producer on the show and will stay as busy as ever with “American Idol,” and his myriad duties on the radio.

“Wheel of Fortune” was created by Merv Griffin and has aired continuously since January 1975. Sajak hosted the show for 40 years. The show is syndicated, check your local listing.
