Dr. Hamilton Finn is checking out. Michael Easton, who played a myriad of characters on “General Hospital” is leaving the show. The actor took to Instagram to share that he’s taped his last scenes. Walking through the studio lot where the Emmy-winning show is film, Easton thanked the cast, crew and stated how much he enjoyed his time on the show.
“I’ve always been partial to the Irish good-bye – that’s where you leave the party without actually telling anyone you’re gone but I thought you all deserved better,” the actor said. “So, I just want to let you know that I just filmed my final scenes here at General Hospital.”

Dr. Hamilton Finn who is the son of the late Professor Gregory Chase, the father of Violet Finn and the brother of Detective Harrison Chase and has currently dealing with a drinking problem that caused him to spiral out of control. Easton previously played John McBain (a crossover from the defunct “One Life to Live,)” and originating Dr. Silas Clay, before originating Finn in 2016.
