PBS has announced their programming for August 2024 with a list of programs including “Lyla in the Loop” Volume 4 premiering August 5th on PBS KIDS, “Celebrity Antiques Road Trip” Season 12 launching August 12th on PBS Living and “The King’s Favorite” launching August 16th on PBS Masterpiece.

Masterpiece: The King’s Favorite
Premieres August 16 – For more than two decades, Diane de Poitiers was King Henri II’s favorite. Yet despite her strong character and legendary beauty, Diane is just a courtesan. Her position is fragile, and Henri’s impending marriage to Catherine de Medici may destroy her dreams of domination. Can she continue to enchant Henri, 20 years younger than her, forever? Masterpiece: The Good Apprentice, Season 3
Premieres August 30 – Alice is no longer a student; she has become a fully-fledged medical examiner, like her mentor and boyfriend, Dr. Claudio Conforti. The arrival of the new head of Forensic Medicine, Professor Andrea Manes, finds Alice captivated by the charisma of this accomplished woman. From Walter Presents, in Italian with English subtitles.
Lyla in the Loop Volume 4
Premiering August 5 – Lyla Loops and her fantastical blue sidekick, Stu, use creative problem-solving and computational thinking to help their family, friends and community! From building homemade carnival games, to learning the steps of a line dance, to creating a new sandwich for the Loops family’s restaurant, Loops Lunch – Lyla, Stu and the whole Loops crew tackle challenges with equal servings of humor and heart.
Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Volume 26
Premiering August 12 – In DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD, Daniel invites viewers 2-4 into his world, giving them a kid’s-eye view of his life. 4-year-old Daniel and friends learn how to navigate things like school and friendships through catchy strategy songs that will have the whole family singing! Inspired by the iconic MISTER ROGERS’ NEIGHBORHOOD, the beloved series models life lessons needed for growing and learning.
Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, Season 12
Premiering August 12 – Celebrities, including Ian McIlhenney, Tara Lynne O’Neill, Bobby Friction, Sima Kotecha and more, hop in classic cars for antiques shopping and auction competition, all across Great Britain.
