The Telluride Film Festival 2024 kicks off this week with screenings of the year’s most anticipated movies for this Oscar season. The festival runs from Friday, August 30, 2024 to Monday, September 2nd, 2024. Some of the movies that are getting buzz are the “Saturday Night Live” biopic “Saturday Night” and “Better Man.” Directed by Michael Gracey, who directed the innovative “The Greatest Showman,” “Better Man,” tells the story of singer Robbie Williams who rose to fame as a member of popular British boy band Take That but spiraled with abuse of alcohol and drugs. Williams sees himself as a monkey which adds to the art and the story.
