“The Masked Singer” is ready for Season 12 with all new characters singing for The Masked Singer trophy when the season premieres on Wednesday, September 25 on FOX. Five new celebrities will be featured in the episode hosted by Nick Cannon with panelists Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke and Rita Ora.
This season, “The Masked Singer” hosts all-new special theme nights celebrating acclaimed franchises Barbie (celebrating the 65th anniversary of Mattel’s Barbie) and Footloose (ringing in its 40th anniversary), along with the iconic artist Miley Cyrus in a pop culture-piercing night that salutes her music catalog.
Other themes include “Soundtrack of My Life” and “Thanksgiving Night,” with other all-new themes including “Sports Night,” “60’s Night” and a first-of-its-kind “Who Are You Fest,” featuring music from memorable festival lineups. And for the first time in the show’s history, viewers will get the biggest clue yet as each of the fifteen masked singers will be endorsed by a celebrity Masked Ambassador.
