PBS Masterpiece: Fall 2024 programming announced

PBS has a host of programming coming this Fall on its Prime Video Channels, PBS Masterpiece and PBS Documentaries including “Hotel Portofino,” “Ridley,” and “Moonflower Murders.”

Check out some programming highlights below.


Paradise, Season 5

(Premieres October 11th)

Series

Mori’s death brings about a new era for Paradise. Conti takes out a loan from Umberto Guarnieri, who secretly wants Paradise to fail. From Walter Presents, in Italian with English subtitles.


The Marlow Murder Club

(Premieres October 27th)

Series

Retired archaeologist Judith Potts’s peaceful evening is shattered when she witnesses a brutal murder. With the local police—led by DS Tanika Malik—reluctant to believe her story, Judith teams up with local dog-walker Suzie and unfulfilled vicar’s wife Becks to investigate. The unlikely group of sleuths must use all of their skills as they race against the clock to stop the killer.

The Astros Edge: Triumph and Scandal in Major Leage Baseball

(Premieres October 4th)

Series

The Houston Astros cheating scandal and what it says about baseball today. With reporter Ben Reiter, the making of one of the best teams and worst scandals in modern MLB history, the limited accountability and how Astros baseball changed the sport.


Beyond Debate: A Revolution in Education

(Premieres October 7th)

Series

This film explores the impact of debate-based education in U.S. schools and highlights how this approach may help foster critical thinking, communication and active participation among students. Explore how debate bridges educational gaps, reignites learning passion and nurtures engaged citizens. Could it be a catalyst for change in American education?
