Playbill was on the set of the upcoming musical “Smash.” The cast and crew, including newcomers Megan Hilty and Katharine McPhee were on hand last month to shoot a fantasy musical scene.
“Smash” is a musical drama that follows a group of people who are set to create a Broadway musical based on the life of Marilyn Monroe. The cast includes Christian Borle, Debra Messing, Brian d’Arcy James, McPhee, Hilty, Anjelica Huston, Jack Davenport, Jaime Cepero and Raza Jaffrey. Special guest appearances include Uma Thurman, Nick Jonas and Bernadette Peters.
