ABC’s cop series “Rookie Blue” returns Thursday, May 24th at 10pm. The series is set around five young, ambitious rookie cops. The third season begins as after two years on the job, these rookies are well on their way to becoming experienced cops, but at what cost?
Andy McNally thinks she finally has everything she’s always wanted. Her three-month suspension for “conduct unbecoming an officer” – jeopardizing Sam Swarek’s undercover operation and, consequently, his safety – is behind her at long last. Dov has always wanted to drive fast and shoot guns, but after he encounters a deadly situation on the job, his perspective on everything changes. Traci wants to be a detective, but when she achieves that goal, she finds it challenging in ways she’d never imagined. Chris has wanted to move beyond his small-town persona and be respected as a big-city cop, but he’s finding that earning respect from his superiors is much harder than it looks. Gail — the legacy hire – is still trying to climb out from under the shadow her parents cast on her professional endeavors. And then the newest rookie, Nick Collins, an ex-military hotshot who is trying to adapt to policing after serving in Afghanistan, and who also happens to be Gail’s old flame. With sparks like this flying, 15 Division is sure to ignite.
“Rookie Blue” stars Missy Peregrym (“Heroes,””Reaper”) as Andy McNally, Gregory Smith (“Everwood”) as Dov Epstein, Charlotte Sullivan (“The Kennedys”) as Gail Peck, Enuka Okuma (“24”) as Traci Nash, Travis Milne (“Leslie, My Name is Evil”) as Chris Diaz, Peter Mooney (“Camelot,” ABC’s Family/Global’s “Falcon Beach”) as Nick Collins and Ben Bass (“The Eleventh Hour”) as Sam Swarek. Also starring in the series is Melanie Nicholls-King as Noelle Williams, Matt Gordon as Oliver Shaw, Noam Jenkins as Detective Jerry Barber and Lyriq Bent as Frank Best.
