AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), is holding their annual California Music Festival & AIDS Walk at Los Angeles’ Griffith Park and the Greek Theatre on Sunday, May 20th from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
AHF Pharmacy—along with KRTH, K-EARTH 101 radio—are sponsoring this year’s Walk and concert featuring KC & The Sunshine Band, Heatwave, Thelma Houston, Maxine Nightingale and Cheryl Lynn. The night will also include tributes to Don Cornelius and Soul Train, Dick Clark and American Bandstand and well as a tribute to Donna Summer from one of the stars of NBC’s The Voice.
The concert will be hosted by Magic Johnson and his wife, Cookie Johnson. The Johnsons will lead the Walk at 4:30 pm. The festival—and Walk check-in—begins at 2:00 PM (free food trucks, music stage, rides) with the 3K Walk beginning at 4:30 PM, followed by the concert at the Greek Theatre at 6:00 PM.

The California Music Festival & AIDS Walk is dedicated to raising awareness that more than 200,000 people are living with HIV/AIDS in California and to raise funds for local AIDS service organizations including: AIDS Healthcare Foundation, AIDS Service Center, Bienestar, Charles Drew Mobile Testing, In The Meantime, Magic Johnson Foundation and Whittier Rio Hondo AIDS Project.
