'Rookie Blue' returns with an all new episode for season 2

“Rookie Blue,”  ABC’s one-hour, original dramatic series returns May 24th with a powerful premiere episode with guest star William Shatner.

In the premiere episode, “The First Day of the Rest of Your Life,” Andy must deal with returning after a three month extension and her potential replacement, new rookie Nick Collins. A reunion with Sam is interrupted when they are involved in a multi-car collision, caused by a very drunk driver, Henry McLeod (William Shatner), with a serious grudge against the police. When a mysterious young girl vanishes from the scene of the accident, Andy connects her to a seven-year-old cold case. Will Andy-still on suspension – and the rest of the Division be able to find the missing girl and uncover the circumstances of her disappearance before it is too late? Whether Andy and Sam can reignite the passion they once had may be an even bigger question.

“Rookie Blue” stars Missy Peregrym (“Heroes,””Reaper”) as Andy McNally, Gregory Smith (“Everwood”) as Dov Epstein, Charlotte Sullivan (“The Kennedys”) as Gail Peck, Enuka Okuma (“24”) as Traci Nash, Travis Milne (“Leslie, My Name is Evil”) as Chris Diaz, Peter Mooney (“Camelot,” ABC’s Family/Global’s “Falcon Beach”) as Nick Collins and Ben Bass (“The Eleventh Hour”) as Sam Swarek. Also starring in the series is Melanie Nicholls-King as Noelle Williams, Matt Gordon as Oliver Shaw, Noam Jenkins as Detective Jerry Barber and Lyriq Bent as Frank Best.
