Alicia Keys to perform at People's Choice Awards 2013

Singer Alicia Keys is tapped to perform at the 2013 People’s Choice Awards from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Jan. 9 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. She will be joining previously announced performers Christina Aguilera and Jason Aldean. The People’s Choice Awards is the only major awards show where fans determine the nominees and winners across categories of movies, music and television.

The show will be hosted by “The Big Bang Theory’s” Kaley Cuoco.

“The caliber of performances we have planned for this show is beyond compare,” said Executive Producer Mark Burnett. “Alicia is an undeniable vocal powerhouse, and combined with Christina Aguilera and Jason Aldean, we are going to have one epic show. They are three of music’s biggest talents. I am simply ecstatic to have them all joining us this year.”

Keys’ fifth studio album, GIRL ON FIRE (RCA Records) marks the singer’s third consecutive #1 album on the Billboard 200 album chart.
