The LA Food Fest returns to its downtown Los Angeles for its seventh consecutive year with a new partner, new location and expanded schedule and offerings.Nederlander and the LA Food Fest have joined forces to present three nights and two full days of LA’s best food, entertainment, culture and community. The event kicks off on Friday, July 8 with a chef-hosted Rose Garden Party celebrating the Food Fest’s past and present. The main event continues Saturday, July 9 and Sunday, July 10 at Exposition Park beginning at 12:00PM for the all-inclusive VIP “Golden Hour” akin to the original all you can eat experience for just a few thousand attendees. The general admission MRKT starts at 3:00PM where attendees can choose their own adventure with food, drink and more for purchase from 100+ food, beverage, beer, wine and craft cocktail vendors, with admission capped each day to ensure an optimal experience for all. Saturday and Sunday will also feature intimate 250-person chef-driven “long table” events in the Food Fest Rose Garden Pop-Up Restaurant.
The Food Fest is a community event showcasing the best of Los Angeles’ food scene with signature eats and event only special menus priced at $5 and $9 from a variety of vendors. More than a hundred of the city‘s top chefs, award winning restaurants, gourmet trucks, old school carts and stands will serve guests from white tented booths and umbrella shaded lounge areas in Exposition Park. Past Fest favorites returning include the signature ice cream social, iced coffee lounge, craft cocktails at multiple bars and tequila tasting. New additions include a wine garden to complement City sponsored beer gardens, live culinary stage, games on the lawn, “food porn” cinema, Artisanal LA Farm Shop, live music and DJ sets. Also new this year is concert-style early admission with doors an hour ahead of event start time for both VIP Golden Hour and GA MRKT attendees.
Advance general admission tickets for the LA Food Fest MRKT are available starting at $10 online and will be $20 at the door. All-inclusive VIP Golden Hour tickets are $69.00 and include two hours of unlimited sampling in the MRKT, two drink tickets for use at the Food Fest bars and early access to all of the cash bars. Exclusive Rose Garden Pop-Up Restaurant tickets range from $95 to $150 for “hangry brunch”, lunch and dinner, which include preferred access to the Rose Garden and the MRKT all day, plus a multi course family style meal with beer and wine pairings and souvenir glass.
