Starr Parodi to perform At the Church on August 6

Starr Parodi will be performing a special concert in Seattle, Washington on Saturdy August 6th. The multi-talented award-winning composer, conductor, arranger, music director and pianist will perform “At the Church”  with Brooke Lizotte. The two pianists/composers as will bring their unique music, and rich stories into the performance setting.

 “The Heart of Frida” Parodi’s highly -anticipated follow up album to “Common Places” is set to be released on August 12th.

Parodi first entered the public eye playing nightly as part of the house band “The Posse’ on the hit late-night “The Arsenio Hall Show”.  In 2009, She became the first woman to have her concert orchestral works performed in the 75 year history of the Laguna Arts Pgeant Of The Masters

 where she currently has become a featured composer in residence.  Her solo piano recording “Common Places” which was honored as Solo Piano CD of the Year, was lauded by KCRWʼs Chris Douridas.
