Grammy Awards 2017: Beyonce, Kanye West, Chance The Rapper lead the nominees

The 59th Annual Grammy Awards were announced. This year’s top nominees include Beyoncé with nine nominations and Drake, Rihanna and Kanye West each with eight nominations. Breakout artist Chance The Rapper received seven nominations, including Best New Artist. 

There is a large variety of artists in the Album Of The Year category with repeat nominees getting honored, including Adele, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Drake and Best New Artist nominee Sturgill Simpson. 

The ceremony will be presented live on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017 on CBS. Talk show host James Corden takes over hosting duties from LL Cool J, who hosted the show for the last five years. Corden’s choice comes after a year of highs including hosting The Tonys earlier this summer. His show, “Late, Late Show with James Corden,” is the home of the highly successful “Carpool Karaoke” which has featured such music superstars as Madonna, Justin Bieber, Adele, One Direction, Carrie Underwood and Lady Gaga
