Camila Cabello has left the group Fifth Harmony. A statement was released early Monday morning via the official Fifth Harmony twitter account by the other members of the band.The announcement of Cabello’s departure comes after the group played their last concert of the Jingle Ball tour in Sunrise, Florida on Sunday night.

After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila Cabello has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well.
You Harmonizers have been there with us since the beginning, you’ve supported us, you’ve rejoiced and cried with us, you’ve grown with us, and with your love and support, we will continue on. That being said, we are excited to announce that we will be moving forward with the four of us — Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui for our fans. We are four strong, committed women who will continue with Fifth Harmony as well as our solo endeavors.
We are excited for our future, and we can’t wait for what the new year brings.

The group was put together by Simon Cowell on the second season of the X Factor TV show in the USA in 2012. Cabello , in addition to scoring hits with the group has collaborated on two hit singles. The first was the song “I Know What You Did Last Summer” with Shawn Mendes. Then she had the hit “Bad Things” with Machine Gun Kelly.
The group haed two albums “Reflection” in January 2015 which featured the hit single “Worth It,”. Their second album is “7/27” which featured their hit song “Work From Home” featuring Ty Dolla Sign, which hit the Top 5 on the Billboard chart and won them an American Music Award this year for Best Collaboration.
