Members of the R&B/Pop group, New Edition, became the latest celebrities to receive a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The group, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Bobby Brown, Ronnie DeVoe, Johnny Gill and Ralph Tresvant, have a slew of hits including “Cool It Now,” “Can You Stand the Rain,” and “If It Isn’t Love.” Formed in 1978, the band is planning a tour next year.
The ceremony kicks a week – long celebration which is capped off with the BET three-part miniseries “The New Edition Story” about the group’s rise to fame.
