The NAACP Awards , the two-hour star-studded event hosted by Anthony Anderson will broadcast LIVE on TV ONE on Saturday, February 11th, as a two-hour special. A 90-minute pre-show will air live from the red carpet at before on TV One.
Beyoncé has the most nominations with 7 nods while her sister, Solange Knowles, received 5 nominations. Other multiple nominees include Chance the Rapper and Kendrick Lamar who each received 4 nominations, while Donald Glover and Nate Parker both received nominations for 3 awards. Beyonce and Chance the Rapper are candidates for Entertainer of the Year along with Viola Davis, Regina King, and Dwayne Johnson is among the nominees.
Trevante Rhodes is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a movie for his work on the movie ” Moonlight”.
