Even with all of the awards season talk going to “La La Land” and “Moonlight,” one actress has managed to stay in the spotlight with her electrifying performance. French actress, Isabelle Huppert, who was this year’s Golden Globe winner for her performance in “Elle,” is a contender for Oscar this year.
In “Elle,” Huppert plays Michèle who seems indestructible. Head of a leading video game company, Michelle brings the same ruthless attitude to her love life as to business. Being attacked in her home by an unknown assailant changes Michèle’s life forever. When she resolutely tracks the man down, they are both drawn into a curious and thrilling game a game that may, at any moment, spiral out of control.
TVMusic Network caught up with Huppert recently to chat about Awards Season and what he would like viewers to take away from the movie.
