CBS Daytime viewers will be able to rest easy if they were worried about the state of their favorite soaps.
CBS has renewed its entire daytime lineup for the 2017-18 season, which includes a three-year deal for their #1 soaps “The Young and the Restless.” Sister soap, “The Bold and the Beautiful,” which already had a multi-year pickup through the 2017-18 season, just received the Golden Nymph Award fro being the Most Watched Soap Opera in the world with 35 million viewers around the world at this year’s Monte Carlo Television Festival. The soap also shot episodes on location while there.
CBS’s renewal of its entire line-up included its non-soap shows, “The Price Is Right,” “Let’s Make A Deal” and “The Talk.”
