NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior” celebrated their Emmy nomination by giving fans of the show a chance to challenge the ninjas to a race on the obstacle course in their own backyard – Universal Studios.
The fun family event featured the 120 ft inflatable Ninja Course complete with a kids course. “American Ninja Warrior” is nominated for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program for the second straight year.
“Ninja” host Akbar Gbajabiamila, co-host Kristine Leahy and some of your favorite Ninjas celebrated the Emmy nomination of “American Ninja Warrior” by posing for photos and “running” the course against fans of all ages. The “For Your Children” event had kids completing the course just as the ninjas would. Fan favorite ninjas Kevin Bull and Tiana Webberley were on hand to “compete” with fans.
“American Ninja Warrior” airs on Monday nights at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. Monday, August 28 is the Denver City Finals. The show will begin its National Finals from Las Vegas on Monday, September 4 (8:00 p.m. ET/PT).
The 2017 Primetime Emmy Awards will air live on Sunday, September 17 on CBS.
