‘Tracy Ullman Show’ November sneak peek

Female performer extraordinaire Tracy Ullman is back on HBO with the “Tracy Ullman’s Show” airs on Friday nights.  Over the course of the new season, Ullman uses her signature brand of sharp satire to shape-shift into a range of public figures and offbeat original characters. 

The Emmy winner reprises her characterizations of Dame Judi Dench, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Dame Maggie Smith and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and introduces her takes on model and new Murdoch family member Jerry Hall and pop singer Adele.

            Episode #11 (season 2, episode 5) — FRIDAY, NOV. 17 (11:00-11:30 p.m.)

            Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, babysits Princess Charlotte; the Murdochs pose for a family photo; a military intelligence spy stakes out her son’s girlfriend; a masseuse juggles work and a baby; Nicola Sturgeon takes a famous actor into her lair; a dance troupe is reunited after 40 years; and Dame Judi Dench stirs up trouble at an awards ceremony.

            Guest stars include Ben Miller (Rupert Murdoch), Jamie Demetriou (David), Gemma Arrowsmith (Sherri) and Olivia Morgan (Wee Mhairi).

            A military-intelligence spy uses her resources to help her daughter with an exam; Angela Merkel and her stylist, Birgit, go on a tour of London; provocative artist Sharon Utley opens her new gallery; Dame Maggie Smith tries a first-person shooter game; Nicola Sturgeon captures a well-known tennis player; and Kay looks into her family tree.

            Guest stars include Samantha Spiro (Birgit), Tracy-Ann Oberman (Carol), Olivia Morgan (Wee Mhairi) and Gwen Taylor (Debbie).
