“The Young and the Restless” is gearing up for their 45th anniversary this month. The #1 drama premiered on CBS on March 26, 1973. As previously mentioned, some former cast members will be reprising their characters including a few original cast members of the cast. Now, the soap has released a promo video of the cast celebrating 45 years on the air.
“The Young and the Restless” is broadcast weekdays at 12:30 p.m. on CBS and is produced by Bell Dramatic Serial Company, in association with Sony Pictures Television.
“The Young and the Restless” has been the #1 daytime drama series against regularly scheduled programming, according to the Nielsen rankings, since December 1988.
“The Young and the Restless” is seen daily by more than 10 million viewers around the world. The U.S. daily audience is 5.6 million.
