The cast and crew of Netflix’s “On My Block ” held their premiere for the upcoming series this week. The series stars Diego Tinoco, Sierra Capri, Jason Genao, Brett Gray, Jessica Marie Garcia, Ronni Hawk, Julio Macias, Peggy Blow, Paula Garces, Jahking Guillory, and Danny Ramirez;. The cast attended along with show Creators Lauren Iungerich, Eddie Gonzalez, and Jeremy Haft, Producer Jamie Dooner, and many more.
“On My Block,” co-created by Lauren Iungerich (Awkward) and Eddie Gonzalez (All Eyez on Me) & Jeremy Haft (All Eyez on Me), is a coming of age comedy about four bright and street-savvy friends navigating their way through the triumph, pain and the newness of high-school set in LA’s South Central Neighborhood. It’s set in a predominantly Hispanic and African American part of South Central LA, and follows a fearless foursome – Monse, Ruby, Jamal and Cesar – as they enter high school and confront the challenges of adolescence and their neighborhood.
“On My Block” premieres Friday, March 16.
