CBS cancels ‘Kevin Can Wait’, ‘Scorpion,’ and ‘Superior Donuts’

CBS is continuing to set up their Summer and Fall programming and had canceled “Scorpion,” “Kevin Can Wait,” and “Superior Donuts.”

CBS has canceled its Kevin James-led comedy “Kevin Can Wait” after two seasons. The show, which created noise with a major casting change when Leah Rimini was cast, starred Kevin James as a retired police officer.

Executive producer Andy Fickman broke the news on Instagram:

Well folks that sadly is a series wrap on Kevin Can Wait. So proud of what we did and this remarkable and talented Cast, Writers & Crew. Also a special thanks to the amazing people of Long Island who welcomed us with open hearts! Onward to the next exciting adventures but will carry treasured memories of KCW with me!

“Superior Donuts” starred Judd Hirsh and Jerome Flower and was centered around Arthur, the owner of a small donut shop that’s located in a quickly gentrifying Chicago neighborhood, and his new and only employee Franco.

“Scorpion” star Katharine McPhee shared the news about her show on Twitter:
