This week the Top 5 finalists performed in hopes of winning America’s vote and making it through to the finals, as the search for the next American Idol continues on Sunday, May 13.
In this episode in honor of Mother’s Day, the Top 5 finalists performed songs dedicated to moms, in addition to performing from the catalogue of “American Idol” winner and seven-time GRAMMY® winner Carrie Underwood. The Top 5 finalists were surprised with a trip to Nashville and the opportunity to learn from Underwood while she served as the guest mentor for the week. Underwood also performed her hit single, “Cry Pretty,” and also joined the Top 5 live on stage for “See You Again”.
