‘American Idol’ alum Thia Megia joins ‘Days of our Lives’

Looks like there will be a new lady in JJ’s life. “Days of our Lives” has cast Idol alum Thia Megia in a new role on the soap. 

At the Day of Days event this past weekend, the new cast member was introduced as Hayley Chen. “It’s such an honor,” Megia told the crowd. As far as my character, she’s had to endure so much in her past and to take on a role where she’s just full of strength and she’s such a vast character with so much depth. I’m just so grateful that they chose me to tell her story. It’s been amazing.” Hayley will share scenes with JJ.
