The Voice Season 15 Top 4 finalists Kennedy Holmes, Kirk Jay, Chevel Shepherd and Chris Kroeze performed for the final time on Monday, December 17 before the winner will be announced.The contestants were each asked to sing a solo cover, an original song and a duet with their respective coach.
Recording artists Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Dierks Bentley, Halsey, Marshmello and Bastille, Panic! At The Disco, Season 14 winner Brynn Cartelli performed on the live two-hour Tuesday, December 18 season finale (9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. ET/PT) of NBC’s four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series “The Voice.”
From the four finalists – Kennedy Holmes from Team Jennifer finished in 4 th place, Kirk Jay from Team Blake finished in 3rd, and Chris Kroeze from Team Blake finished in 2nd place, and Chevel Shepherd from Team Kelly was crowned the winner.
The season finale will also featured special musical collaborations with the Top 4 finalists. Kennedy performed with Kelly Rowland, Chris performed with The Doobie Brothers, Kirk performed with Racal Flatts and Chevel performed with Dan +Shay.
In addition, Season 15 coaches and award-winning vocal powerhouses Jennifer Hudson and KellyClarkson teamed up to perform a special holiday classic, “O Holy Night.”
John Legend performed on “The Voice” stage ahead of his spring 2019 debut as a coach. He performed his rendition of the holiday classic “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” featuring Esperanza Spalding, which is featured on his first Christmas album, “A Legendary Christmas,” out now on Columbia Records.
Multi-platinum singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley will perform his Top 10 and climbing single “Burning Man,” off his #1-selling album “The Mountain.”
Grammy Award-nominated, multi-platinum artist Halsey performed her hit single, “Without Me,” which came on the heels of the 2x platinum-certified “Eastside,” with Benny Blanco and Khalid, which garnered 300 million streams worldwide in just two months.
DJ/producer Marshmello will perform his latest single, “Happier,” featuring British band Bastille. The record is finding massive success on radio, including holding fast at #1 for a second consecutive week on Billboard’s BDS and Mediabase/Top 40 Radio Airplay chart – a first for both artists. In addition, “Happier” hit #1 on the Alternative Radio chartand is Top 10 at Hot AC and climbing. Since its release, “Happier” has also reached #1 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Streaming Chart, the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales Chart and has one billion cumulative streams.
