“The Young and the Restless” star Kristoff St. John has died. According to TMZ, the two-time Emmy winner was found dead in his home on Sunday. No signs of foul play were detected, but the site is reporting alcohol may have been a factor.
St John was a television staple, having appeared in many memorable acting roles since he was a child, including “Roots,” Happy Days,” and “Generations.”
He is best known for his Emmy winning role as Neil Winters on the No.1 Daytime drama, “The Young and the Restless.”
The 2014 death of St. John’s son Julien led the actor to become an advocate for mental health awareness beginning a foundation in his son’s name.
St. John is survived by his daughters Paris and Lola, and by his father, actor Christopher St. John. He was 52 years old.
