“American Idol” is heading to the Oscars. Two of the iconic show’s most recognizable “American Idol” alumni gearing up to take the stage during Hollywood’s Biggest Night. Oscar and Grammy Award-Winning Jennifer Hudson will be performing the Oscar-nominated song “I’ll Fight” from RBG, written by 10-time nominee Diane Warren, while Adam Lambert and Queen’s show-opening performance will not be one to miss.
Both artists have come a long way since their “American Idol” days and are still uber-successful in the music industry today.
Oscars and “American Idol” are also connected by judge Lionel Richie, who won an Academy Award for Original Song for “Say You, Say Me.”
Catch the musical performance featuring contestants from the upcoming season during the Oscars broadcast and be sure to tune-in when “American Idol” returns to ABC on Sunday, March 3rd with a two-hour premiere beginning at 8:00 PM EST.
