MAX has today released his highly anticipated new single “Love Me Less”, featuring Quinn XCII. Produced by Roget Chahayed (Travis Scott, Halsey, Calvin Harris) and Imad Royal (The Chainsmokers), the track is a true pop hit that combines the singer-songwriter’s unparalleled vocal range with his signature passionate delivery. “Love Me Less” is now available on all digital streaming platforms HERE.
“I’m so excited to release this evolution in my sound and introduce a bright electrifying new yellow era with “Love Me Less”, said MAX about the song. “It is the raw and honest follow up of how love unfolds after “Lights Down Low”.
MAX has had quite the start to 2019, having already been featured glowingly by fashion magazine L’Officiel, dubbed a “Young Pop God” by GQ and nominated for Best New Pop Artist at this year’s iHeart Music Awards alongside fellow nominees Marshmello, Bazzi, Lauv, and NF. The honor followed the success of his 2016 album Hell’s Kitchen Angel, which contained the enormous single “Lights Down Low”. The track reached one billion total audience spins on iHeartRadio Stations, earning MAX iHeartRadio’s prestigious Titanium Award earlier this week.
“Lights Down Low” has become a bonafide hit since its release, achieving multi-platinum status worldwide and impressively crossing over 500 million streams. The song held the #1 spot on Billboard’s Adult Pop Radio chart, reached #7 at Top 40 radio and stormed the top 20 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. The track even reached television airwaves, as MAX brought an emotional, stripped-down rendition of “Lights Down Low” to “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” as well as a powerful, choir-backed version to “Live With Kelly And Ryan.”
