“General Hospital” has recast the character of Nina. “Guiding Light” alum Cynthia Watros will replace Michelle Stafford who is returning “The Young and the Restless.” People Magazine confirmed the news. Watros begins taping in June. It’s a bittersweet day,” tweeted GH executive producer Frank Valentini when the news broke online. “I love Michelle Stafford and wish her all the best. I’m also really excited about Cynthia Watros joining the GH family and continuing Nina’s legacy.”
“General Hospital” airs weekdays on ABC.
