The Daytime Emmys celebrated this year’s nominees by hosting a nominees reception at the historic Castle Green in Pasadena, minutes away from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium where the 46th annual Daytime Emmy Awards are taking place on Sunday, May 5.
Bryton James from “The Young and the Restless” is up for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Devon Hamilton at the Daytime Emmys this year. The actor submitted scenes from the Hilary’s death storyline as Devon climbs into bed next to Hilary, and he reminisces about their together. Later Devon lashes out at his sister Lily for causing the accident saying that Lily always wanted Hilary out of his life before seeing a therapist talk about his grief and pain, and what he lost when Hilary died.
TVMusic Network caught up Bryton at the 2019 Daytime Nominees Reception and talked to him about his reel, working with Mishael Morgan (Hilary), his new storyline and what he’ll always remember about Kristoff St. John.
