Check out a first-look at PBS’s MASTERPIECE newest series “Sanditon.”  The series is an adaptation of Jane Austen’s final, unfinished novel. The eight-hour series stars Theo James, Rose Williams, Anne Reid, Crystal Clarke, and Kris Marshall.

Andrew Davies (Pride & Prejudice, Les Misérables) has adapted Austen’s work, which she was writing when she died in 1817. It’s a modern and lavish new take on Austen, full of humor, romance, and gorgeous sets and costumes.

“Sanditon” will air on Masterpiece in 2020.
