‘The L Word: Generation Q’: Meet the Cast

The cast of The L Word: Generation Q: Jacqueline Toboni, Katherine Moennig, Leisha Hailey, Jennifer Beals,
Rosanny Zayas,  Arienne Mandi and Micah Lee.

“The L Word: Generation Q” sequel is set to premiere Sunday, December 8 on SHOWTIME. Arienne Mandi, Leo Sheng, Jacqueline Toboni and Rosanny Zayas are set to star as the new generation of LGBTQIA characters who will join original series stars and executive producers Jennifer Beals, Katherine Moennig and Leisha Hailey.

The sequel to the groundbreaking drama series THE L WORD, which originally ran on SHOWTIME from 2004-2009, THE L WORD: GENERATION Q continues to follow the intermingled lives of Bette Porter (Beals), Alice Pieszecki (Hailey) and Shane McCutcheon (Moennig), along with new characters Dani Nùñez (Mandi), Micah Lee (Sheng), Sarah Finley (Toboni) and Sophie Suarez (Zayas) as they experience love, heartbreak, sex, setbacks and success in L.A.

Meet the characters below:

Sarah Finley (Jacqueline Toboni)

As Alice’s charming but unfocused assistant, Finley is eager to find her footing in LA, but her past is going to make things more complicated than she could have imagined.

Shane McCutcheon (Katherine Moennig)

After facing her share of love, heartbreak, sex and setbacks, Shane returns to LA ready to start a new chapter in her life – with a little help from (and for) her friends.

Alice Pieszecki (Leisha Hailey)

Like social superglue, Alice is still smack in the middle of things, drawing connections between everyone on her life, only now she’s doing it with her own talk show.

Bette Porter (Jennifer Beals)

Now running for mayor of Los Angeles, the only thing that can stand in the way of Bette’s drive to change the world is her heart.

Sophie Suarez (Rosanny Zayas)

Outspoken and fearless as a producer on Alice’s talk show, Sophie also has a selfless side that can cause trouble at home with girlfriend Dani.

Dani Nunez (Adrienne Mandi)

Dani’s a driven PR exec who always comes out on top, even if she has to set conscience aside. But a chance encounter forces her to reconsider her priorities.

Micah Lee (Leo Sheng)

A brilliant but vulnerable professor of social work, Micah is anxiously tackling the world of dating in Los Angeles – with the help pf his roommates Dani and Sophie.
