The winner of  Season 15 of “America’s Got Talent” is Brandon Leake.

The Stockton, California native won a $1 million dollar prize and a headlining show at The Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. “This is a huge win for the spoken word community. Leake said during the finale. “For an art form that has not been on the mainstream ever to have a chance to win “America’s Got Talent” is bigger than anything”.

Leake’s talent is spoken word which earned him the Golden Buzzer from Howie Mandel during the show auditions.  The Top 5 were duo Broken Roots  who finished in second, singer Christina Rae came third, singer Roberta Battaglia finished fourth and aerialist Alan Silva finished in fifth place.

The two-hour finale was held at Universal Studios in California featured performances from Usher, Ava Max, Blake Shelton, Marvin Winans, JP Saxe with Julia Michaels and Ryan Tedder.
