Jaleel White, has set a deal with podcast content production studio, Audio Up Media, on his first podcast ever, titled Ever After. White is most famous for his beloved portrayal of the irksome, 90’s uber-nerd, Steve Urkel, on ABC’s smash hit, Family Matters. Reminiscing on his early days in the industry, White is using this platform to look back fondly on his mid-90’s fame and shares the microphone with a series of fellow child stars to see how their paths diverged from their early days of fame. The first two premiere episodes released today and feature actress, singer and television personality Keke Palmer, and actor Haley Joel Osment.
“I’m super excited to be in business with Audio Up,” says Jaleel White. “I’ve wanted to make a podcast detailing the experience about what it’s like to go from being a child actor, to transition into a fully functioning adult. Luckily, some of my best friends growing up all had the same experience for me. So this podcast is one-part support group and one-part insider’s view, which gives you the straight scoop about what it’s like to grow up in the limelight and have to adjust back to reality when the lights dim. I’ve been fortunate enough to have many careers in my life and now I’m adding podcast to my resume. Working with Audio Up has been an amazing turnkey experience. They built me a custom studio for my show at the Audio Up compound… that place is bananas and is probably the only podcast facility like that in the world! They also created a hilarious theme song and marketing campaign to help us get out of the gate. It’s a noisy marketplace and we’re here to make some noise.”
Ever After is created and produced by Audio Up Media in association with Sweet Irony Productions and Topic.
Ever After officially premiered today with episodes one and two. Episodes are available on all podcast streaming platforms – HERE.
