The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series “The Voice” is in full swing for Season 19 on NBC.
Gwen Stefani reclaims her red chair alongside superstar coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Blake Shelton as they return for Season 19. Carson Daly returns as host.
The show’s innovative format features four stages of competition: the first begins with the Blind Auditions, then the Battle Rounds, Knockouts, and, finally, the Live Performance Shows before crowning a winner.
The Voice 19 Battle Rounds kick off on Monday. Each team of 10 will be paired up by their coaches to perform duets. The coach will choose a winner who will move on to the Knockout Rounds. The remaining singer is eliminated unless he or she is stolen by another coach or saved by their coach.
Here’s a preview of the battle round from Payge Turner and Laurn Frihauf from Team Gwen. They perform “If The World was Ending” by JP Saxe and Julia Michaels.
Who does Gwen choose ? Tune in to the show to find out.
“The Voice” airs Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC.
