American Idol announces Top 24 contestants

American Idol’s Showstopper and Final judgment began on Sunday, March 28th and Monday, March 29th. The remaining 64 contestants performed for the first time backed by a full band. The judges picked the Top 24. Katy Perry and Luke Byran are there at Dolby Theatre and due to the Covid pandemic, Lionel Richie is viewing the show via Zoom from home. Host Ryan Seacrest and mentor Bobby Bones are there to guide the contestants.

The Top 24 contestants will move on to Celebrity Duets/Solos round. Ten contestants were announced on the show with two awaiting their fate at the end of Sundays episode. The final 14 were announced on Monday, March 29th. The Top 24 who made it includes:
