American Idol names Top 3 finale contestants

American Idol” is back with a live coast-to-coast voting. The top four contestants performed four songs each on Sunday, May 16 on ABC. In this show, the remaining finalists performed songs dedicated to their music hero, a duet with another contestant to a song by Finneas who was on hand to mentor the contestants, an original song worked on and produced by industry professionals. American Idol Season 2 winner stopped by to announce his new single, “Memorized You”.American Idol judge Luke Byran performed his latest single “Waves”.

Voting started at the beginning of the episode and the top three finalists were revealed at the end of the episode.  The Top 3 moving into next week’s finale are Willie Spence, Grace Kinstler and Chayce Beckhman.  Casey Bishop was eliminated.

The Top 3 contestants will return to the hometown for a series of homecoming visits and activities.
