“American Idol” fans have chosen Chayce Beckham as the 2021 winner , but viewers of “Live with Kelly and Ryan” have picked 2nd runner-up Grace Kinstler to appear on Friday’s show for a special performance.
“Idol” fans voted between 6 of the finalists in a contestant of who they wanted to see sing a special encore performance on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” via “Live’s ‘American Idol’ Encore’.
Kinster told us at TVMusic Network and other reports during a virtual Q&A after the finale that the song that she wanted to do on the show that she did not have a chance to was her reprise rendition of “Natural Woman” by Aretha Franklin. Kinstler stated that she had a new arrangement of the song ready to go. However, on the show she will be performing her new single ‘Love Someone”.

Runner up Willie Spence will perform on the show on Thursday, May 27th.
