Genie Francis is back on the set of General Hospital. Francis, who plays Laura Collins, left Port Charles in August to take a late summer break. She’ll begin airing sometime in early December.
On the Red Carpet was on the set as Francis and various castmates filmed a Holiday scene at The Port Charles Chamber of Commerce.
“It is a perfect time to come back, isn’t it’s Christmas,” Francis stated that she has “been very fortunate to share a lot of my life with a lot of these people here”.
Her co-stars had nothing but praise for Francis. William Lipton (Cameron Webber) says ” She is like my kind of grandma on the show”. It is always so sweet to get some affection from the amazing Genie Francis.”
Nicholas Chavez (Spencer Cassadine) added “She is really, really amazing to work with and she just beams whenever you see her. She’s awesome.”
Francis should begin airing sometime in early December.
General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
