The Latin Grammys were held in Las Vegas and was hosted by Luis Fonsi, Thalia, Anitta and Laura Pausini. The live show included performances from Anitta, Jorge Drexler with Elvis Costello, Angela Aguilar, Jesse Y Joy, Karol G, Christina Aguilera, John Legend with Sebastian Yatra and Marc Anthony.

This year’s Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year was Mexican musician Marco Antonio Solís who performed “Se Veía Venir” and “La Venia Bendita” with Jose Hernandez and Mariachi Sol De Mexico. He was then introduced to the stage for his acceptance speech by Emilio Estefan.

There was a tie in the Best New Artist category, with Angela Álvarez and Silvana Estrada both winning the coveted award.

Christina Aguilera took home the Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for her album “Aguilera.”
